Caldy

Title

Caldy

Description

Formed in 1907, Caldy Golf Club sits at the end of the Wirral Peninsula, alongside the River Dee. Breathtaking views can be enjoyed from the cliff for holes across the estuary towards Hilbre Island and the coast of Wales.

The Club has fought an almost constant battle against coastal erosion, but having invested heavily in rock armour and also USGA style greens, the Club has recently been announced as an Open Championship Regional Qualifying venue from 2020 onwards.

In 1974, the Club moved from its original Clubhouse (still situated behind the now 6th green) to the existing premises at Links Hey Road to accommodate its growing Membership numbers. The Club is extremely proud to be a regular host to Cheshire's Mens and Ladies County fixtures.
