Dunham Forest

Description

Situated close to the old market town of Altrincham, Dunham Forest Golf and Country Club enjoys a beautiful woodland setting that was once part of the Earl of Stamford’s estate.
Now a charming but challenging 18-hole championship course, the land was used previously by the US Army as an Italian prisoner of war camp and transformed in 1960 by renowned international course designer and ex-Ryder Cup player, Dave Thomas.
The Club welcomes men, ladies, juniors and players of all levels with a range of membership options available to suit. The ample practice facilities include a driving range, chipping area and putting green and the Professional, Paul Dennis runs an Academy with a state-of-the-art indoor golf simulator.
The Clubhouse itself offers a bright, friendly and comfortable place to relax after a round, boasting a bar and restaurant that serves truly exceptional cuisine. Recently opened to private and corporate events, the Clubhouse has become a popular Cheshire venue.
