Title

Antrobus G.C.

Description

Antrobus Golf Club officially opened on 30th August 1993 when left and right handed cricketers, Mike Atherton and Neil Fairbrother simultaneously teed off on the 1st hole. The course was designed by the late Mike Slater and had taken only 24 weeks from being a farmer’s field to a 9 hole golf course. A further 4 holes were opened before the end of 1993 and the full 18 holes were opened in 1994. We celebrated our Silver Jubilee in 2018, and 25 years on we still have the same Head Greenkeeper who continues to maintain it as a challenging course with interesting water features.
