Description
In 1960 friends Pat Owen and Felice Humphreys-Jones applied to join Wallasey but were refused as only wives of male members could join. Warren Ladies Golf Club was then founded on a 9 hole municipal links in 1961 with its own constitution.
Situated in Warren Park, New Brighton on the scenic Wirral Peninsula where the view from the 6th tee takes in the famous River Mersey and Liverpool skyline. The course is challenging and fun.
As members of a Municipal course, all are members of the Merseyside Ladies Municipal Golf Championship Association, and as such, play each year in the Municipal Championship.
