With fabulous views of the Dee Estuary and the Welsh hills beyond from both the Course and Clubhouse, Heswall Golf Club (founded in 1902) is a 6837 yard, 18 hole course.
Recent improvements include a state of the art, 12-bay driving range, teaching bay, USGA-approved chipping and putting green, and a separate bunker green. Ongoing investment in the club has, most recently, included a £200,000 investment for improved irrigation and drainage of the course along with replacing 6 Greens to USGA standard. A Par 3 course is expected to open in Spring 2019.
The Club has been the venue for numerous prestigious events including both County Championships and matches, Junior Open Championships, and English Seniors Championships amongst others and has a very active membership.
